去年為致敬已故The Beatles吉他手George Harrison逝世十三週年 ，舉辦了一場《George Fest》演唱會，而這場演唱會的影音紀念專輯即將發行，當中收錄集結The Beach Boy成員Brian Wilson、The Killers主唱Brandon Flowers、The Strokes吉他手Nick Valensi等大牌音樂人的演出，連知名脫口秀主持人Conan O’Brien皆獻聲於該專輯。
George Harrison於1943年2月24日出生於英國利物浦，他在The Beatles的光芒一直因John Lennon、Paul McCartney更加受到注目而掩蓋，直到中期「If I Needed Someone」、「Taxman」歌曲的出現，樂迷們才注意到George Harrison過人的才華。《George Fest》在去年George Harrison逝世十三週年的前夕舉行（11月28日），而當時演出的收入則全數捐贈給音樂慈善機構「SweetRelief」。
