2024年第66屆葛萊美入圍名單於臺灣時間11月11日凌晨揭曉，本次最大亮點可說是臺灣連續三年有兩組設計師受「最佳唱片包裝獎」提名肯定：曾以專輯《八歌浪 Pakelang》榮獲臺灣首座葛萊美獎的于薇，本次以葉穎的全客語專輯《遷徙》入圍同個獎項；共同角逐的為《即興貳拾壹》的專輯裝幀設計師鄭星慧。本屆還新增最佳另類爵士專輯（Best Alternative Jazz Album）、最佳流行舞曲錄製（Best Pop Dance Recording）以及最佳非洲音樂演奏（Best African Music Performance）三項大獎。國家錄音藝術科學學院（The Recording Academy，葛萊美獎 Grammys 主辦單位）執行長 Harvey Mason Jr. 表示：「這些轉變反映了我們承諾對音樂產業的積極聆聽與回應，準確地呈現音樂曲風豐富多樣的廣度，以及與不斷更新的音樂風景保持一致。」

葛萊美入圍名單女性制霸！流行天后 Taylor Swift 7度入圍「年度歌曲」創紀錄
R&B 女伶 SZA 獲年度製作、年度專輯、年度歌曲等9項提名成為本屆大贏家，R&B 新聲 Victoria Monét 和獨立樂當紅女聲 Phoebe Bridgers 以自己的名義加上所屬獨立搖滾樂團 boygenius（天才男孩樂團）身分，兩人皆拿下7項提名緊追在後。而 SZA 的競爭者可說是來勢洶洶，Taylor Swift、Miley Cyrus、Billie Eilish（怪奇比莉）、Olivia Rodrigo、Lana Del Rey 與 Dua Lipa 等實力堅強的音樂人，屆時獎落誰家真的難以預測。此外，大獎如「年度歌曲」、「年度專輯」、「年度製作」等，除了 Jon Batiste 外，清一色為女性入圍者，可說是女力制霸的一屆！

▲ Billie Eilish 的 6 項入圍中光是以為電影《Barbie芭比》創作的一曲〈What Was I Made For?〉，就拿下「年度歌曲」、「最佳影視媒體作品歌曲 」等5項入圍，即使已是葛萊美常客的她，依舊感動地在社群連發流淚表情符號直呼「我的心臟好痛 :’)」。
時常打破各大獎項、榜單紀錄的泰勒絲，本次以專輯《Midnights》（午夜）和當中的歌曲獲6項提名，尚未正式揭獎就已創下葛萊美獎史上首位7度入圍「年度歌曲」的歌手。另外，她也曾3度拿下「年度專輯」，已是該項獲獎次數最多的女歌手，與 Paul Simon（保羅賽門）、Frank Sinatra（法蘭克辛納屈）和 Stevie Wonder（史提夫汪達）等音樂人並列第一，如果本屆再下一城，將再打破紀錄成為該項獲獎次數最多的歌手。
臺灣設計師于薇、鄭星慧雙雙入圍葛萊美最佳唱片包裝
第64、65屆葛萊美最佳唱片包裝分別由李政瀚與于薇《八歌浪 Pakelang》、蕭青陽與蕭君恬為短片《淡蘭古道三部曲》製作的原聲專輯《Beginningless Beginning》奪下；今年，臺灣再度此獎項的兩個席次，令人感動萬分。
《遷徙Migration》是葉穎的首張全客語專輯，找來于薇、李政瀚，以及視覺設計師張育鐘聯手打造，以溫柔細膩的視覺和材質，讓聽眾透過光影的互動，循著光線慢慢地探尋專輯內涵的故事線索。專輯設計以 「A love letter between family and the universe 」此理念為主題，並在設計中得以體現。專輯封面的轉盤設計突出了外表平靜無波，卻可能包藏著內心情感的特點，鼓勵人們繼續探索並理解專輯的深層意義。專輯內部還包括繪本般的內容，呈現一個關於「能量轉換」和「身體旅程」的故事。故事以星盤老虎為主角，在翻頁的過程中，觀眾可以感受到情感的變化和轉變。歌詞部分也相當特別，其中一些文字和插畫藏在頁面中，需透過光源照亮專輯內頁使其透光，同時佐以播放相對應的音樂才能找到。整張專輯的設計非常貼近葉穎的音樂，選用了質感豐富的紙材，讓觀看者透過翻閱專輯的過程更貼近歌曲和葉穎的音樂世界。
《即興貳拾壹》則是設計師鄭星慧首次挑戰唱片設計即入圍，以「即興貳拾壹Cadenzas 21 ’」樂團中的11種樂器，其中包括口簧、鼻笛、葫蘆絲、笛、簫、大鍵琴、琵琶、二胡、箏、馬頭琴、 烏德琴與崑曲、呼麥等2種演唱方式出發，融合紙雕藝術設計，詮釋整張專輯多元文化風格的主題。設計擷取各項樂器的局部特色，並以幾何圖形呈現出世界音樂的現代感，像是二胡的「音窗」、琵琶的「琴頭」，封面更是採用烏德琴的「響孔」作為主要視覺，既表現出樂器本身美麗的優點，也與紙雕結構做完美的結合。紙雕設計由五張連續插畫製作，融合多元的樂曲文化，演奏者彈奏的氛圍，以中原的崑曲開始，隨著各式異國風情的旋律，最後到草原上的呼麥結束。整體結構採用立體書的方式呈現，並採用特殊色印刷，讓顏色以最純粹的方式呈現，分別以深藍、淺藍、銀色、白色做搭配；封套的部分，將樂器的局部特色使用燙銀方式呈現，中間簍空處仿照烏德琴的琴弦，與內部封面的花紋做呼應。
搖滾、金屬、另類曲風獎項類別入圍者則包含：Metallica（最佳搖滾演奏、最佳金屬演奏、最佳搖滾專輯）、Slipknot（最佳金屬演奏）、The Rolling Stones（最佳搖滾歌曲）、Foo Fighters（最佳搖滾演奏、最佳搖滾歌曲、最佳搖滾專輯）、Paramore（最佳搖滾專輯、最佳另類音樂表演）、12月即將來臺演出的 Alvvays（最佳另類音樂表演）等。其中，令人眼睛為之一亮的是霸王級新人 Olivia Rodrigo，也獲最佳搖滾歌曲提名。此外，傳奇樂團 The Beatles（披頭四）更以〈I’m Only Sleeping〉入圍最佳音樂錄影帶。
第66屆葛萊美頒獎典禮將於臺灣時間2024年2月5號上午9點於洛杉磯舉行。
