美國德州奧斯汀周末剛舉行了大型音樂藝術集會SXSW(美國南方音樂節)，而星期日的夜半卻不那麼寧靜，有人對空鳴槍而遭到奧斯汀警方逮捕。

一年一度的美國南方音樂節SXSW主辦城市－奧斯汀(Austin)是來到德州必遊之處，更同時以「世界現場音樂之都」（Live Music Capital of the World）聞名。而重視自己奇特又友善的城市特色的SXSW，希望藉由此活動展示不同藝術風格，讓大眾更了解這城市。SXSW期間，整個城市都有許多大大小小的表演活動。

根據目擊者表示，SXSW西南偏南音樂節舉行期間，奧斯汀當地樂團正在一間老酒吧免費演出，而鄰近的第六大道和第三街交接處人聲混雜，突然有人鳴槍，最後雖無人傷亡，當下卻也因此造成群眾驚慌竄逃。警方隨後將他送進警局。
